Armed Forces Covenant Signing

Somerford Associates and Splunk recently hosted an event on the 22nd November with Deputy Commander Strategic Command, Lt Gen Tom C-S CBE, to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant; the promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
Both companies are keen advocates of the Covenant and work closely with the Veteran community, to support options to upskill and subsequently employ, those leaving the Services and wishing to pursue a career in technology.
This was just another way of reaffirmation of collaboration between Industry and Defence. There were also useful discussions on the integration of Reservists, Veterans and other members of the Defence community, including spouses.
